Plantations have come into vogue. It is useful to have an idea of the various applications of oil palm products, as always.

A good illustration of how fresh oil palm fruits are processed into the various downstream products. The main product is crude palm oil, which is the world's most popular edible oil and is also used in various consumer products eg. soap. And of course, now there is the biodiesel application.
